Services include resourcing plants and garden features, bespoke garden designs, elaborate planting schemes, and entire property planning. I strive to deliver the highest standards and to push boundaries if need be, granting you the desired outcome for the outdoor environment you will enjoy with your family and friends.
My name is Claudia Kehlenbach. I am a professionally trained Master of Landscape Architecture living in the Island town of Mersea. Whilst trained as a business consultant, I completed a four-year program of studies of a BSc. Engineer program at the University of Applied Sciences Höxter in North Rhine-Westphalia and a two-year international program in Master Landscape Architecture, including a year of research at the RHS Garden Wisley. This was under my mentors’ guidance,Dr. Noel Kingsbury, then guest lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Bernburg in Saxony-Anhalt and associate lecturer of Sheffield, and Prof. Dr. Wolfram Kircher ibid. Both are leading experts in the field of perennial planting concepts for the city and gardens of our future, researching together with Prof. Nigel Dunnett.
Since my earliest childhood, I have spent many months staying in the Mediterranean, from which I draw my strongest influences. Also, I have lasting impressions from my research and studies in Asia, North and South America, where I enjoyed the lush and vast landscapes of all colours, changing with the seasons. I like to help to shape ecological gardening and landscaping, which has a sustainable effect. Any garden and landscape design challenge I dedicate myself to with enthusiasm and responsibility.
Working with ecological gardening and landscaping ideas, renaturalisation measures, old and newly bred ornamental plants, and dealing with the topic of gardening and its influence on well-being have always been my most vital interests. Participating in the creation and realization of the biodiversity garden at the RBG in Edinburgh has been one of my fondest memory in creating gardens and landscapes.
Transformed a small plot into a beautiful garden that is easy to maintain and has a variety of plants for all year round interest. I’ve been amazed at how Claudia has transformed a small area into a a place for trees, flowers, water and a pleasant seating area for my son.
